South Korea's Semiconductor Industry Expected to Reach 101.9 Trillion Won in Net Profit Next Year
NH Investment & Securities forecasts that South Korea's semiconductor industry net profit will increase from 217 trillion won last year to 759 trillion won this year, and will reach 1,019 trillion won next year, representing a growth rate of 34%. The firm pointed out that the current South Korean stock market has reflected concerns about semiconductor peak, geopolitical instability, and supply-demand disruptions, leading to excessive declines. NH Investment & Securities has set the lower range for the Korea Composite Stock Price Index at 5,800 to 6,250 points, expecting that after a sharp price adjustment, the index is likely to rebound to just above 7,000 points in the mid-range.
