A South Korean court is set to deliver its first-instance ruling on the Bithumb Bitcoin misdelivery case on August 27. Users involved are accused of selling the mistakenly received BTC and holding approximately 194 million won in cash. Bithumb has filed a lawsuit for unjust enrichment against four users, with the case amount reaching up to 500 million won. In February of this year, Bithumb mistakenly credited Bitcoin instead of won points during a promotional reward distribution, subsequently initiating a recovery process, stating that as of March 10, it had recovered 99% of the 1,788 BTC that had not been retrieved.
